Welcome to the Victoria Wheelers Cycling Club and Racing Team!

We’re so glad you stopped by. Here’s a little more on what we’re all about:

-We are a non-profit society based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. We are the longest-running cycling club in Victoria, with more than 50 years of community activity.

-We aim to promote the use of bicycles for sport, recreation, and transportation for cyclists of all skill levels and age groups. We encourage our members to share our love of cycling with our community.

-We are committed to motivating our members, whether they are amateurs looking for a weekly club ride, or high-performance racers seeking a competitive edge. We want to help grow the local racing scene for the enjoyment of all cyclists.

-We support each other in living healthy lives and pursuing success on and off the bike.

We’re excited to partner with Holly Henry, a local Victoria coach and former professional road and cyclocross racer for the 2025 race season. Holly is joining the Wheelers to help give structure and purpose to members’ training, elevate the team’s performance, and help us fine-tune our race tactics.

Holly is an NCCP Competition Development Certified Coach and has coached athletes to national and international podiums. ”I’m passionate about building a team that is not only cohesive but also motivated to achieve success together,” Holly says. Rear more about the two options below.

Group Rides

The Saturday “OBB” or “Wheelers” ride is our club’s bread and butter. This ride starts at 9 am on Saturdays from Oak Bay Bikes. We ride at a social, no-drop pace to Tulista Park in Sidney, then it’s all systems go from Lands End back into town.

In the fall/winter we offer a Sunday social ride starting at 9 am from Oak Bay Bikes. Some weeks it’s gravel, some weeks it’s road, but it’s always a good time. Join our Spond group or watch our socials the week before the ride.

Stay tuned for Zwift rides, summer social rides, racing adventures, and more!
