.. is a non-profit society that is based in Victoria, in the southern region of Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada. We are the oldest running club in Victoria, with more than 50 years of community activity.
The Victoria Wheelers aim to promote, assist and carry out the use and appreciation of bicycles for sport, recreation, and transportation for cyclists of all skill levels and age groups. We aspire to support all levels of cycling, healthy lifestyles, and community interaction.
This website is intended to provide you with easy access to who we are and what we do as well as to events that the Victoria Wheelers host throughout the season.
GROUP RIDES & CLUB ACTIVITIES
Saturday ride (9am Saturdays at Oak Bay Bikes). Chill ride out to Tulista, then world championships from lands end back to town.
Sunday (no drop) social rides starting Sunday Oct 9th, 9am at Oak Bay Bikes… Some weeks it will be gravel, some weeks road, all weeks it will be fun. Probably 2-3 hours duration. Notice of whether gravel or road will go out via email, facebook and instagram the week prior to the ride.
We are also planning on a special Cowichan Valley ride next summer (for reals)… probably with a lunch stop at cherry point winery.
